International Implementation Methodology
The global Microsoft Business Solutions Methodology names On-Target has for many years been the foundation of our uniform
project methodology.
The methodology is much more than just processes in a diagram. It is the fundamental roadmap for how we do business. Our
methodology has proven its success through numerous implementations no matter what the size and the scope of the projects
are, even if it is logically adapted to the size and the specificities of each project and each organisation.
Our methodology lay out 6 well defined main steps each of them specifically designed to reduce project
risks and increase return on investment. It is basic rational thinking brought into best practice scenarios by seasoned
professionals.
The individual projects may not follow the exact same route – because circumstances and assumptions may be different – but
they will always follow the same roadmap, meet the same high quality standards and realize the project scope on target,
on time and on budget.
That’s why Partner Power is investing a lot of resources in methodology alignment engaging new customers or partners. The
importance is to establish a common understanding of the roadmap and skills needed, delegate clear responsibility and not
the least secure knowledge transfer between the parties.
Our Project Quality Assurance Plan (PQAP) is a guarantee for the Customer and the local Partners to be
able to monitor and control the progress of the project, to identify and reduce risk factors, to raise the efficiency and
to define the responsibilities of each party in a precise way.
However, to meet these objectives in an international environment involving many partners, the constraints are of course
more important.
For example, one way of working to implement a common solution internationally is based on an approach called “Core / kernel”
projects.
